Role & Responsibilities

  • Assess technical feasibilities, production processes, and quality standards during product development.
  • Verify drawings, samples, and prototypes for compliance with technical and design requirements.
  • Ensure new products meet international mandatory standards.
  • Review and manage technical documents such as technical drawings and BOMs.
  • Monitor project schedules to meet sample and prototype deadlines.
  • Address technical requests from headquarters.
  • Support material and design development initiatives.
  • Contribute to sustainability projects.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Department to address quality issues and implement improvements.
  • Conduct quality inspections for semi-finished and finished products.

Qualifications

  • Background in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering preferred.
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin, with proficiency in reading and writing in both English and Chinese.
  • At least 9 years of engineering experience, preferably in the eyewear industry.
  • Ability to travel to China as required.

Skills

Proactive and independent work ethic with strong self-motivation. Ability to perform under pressure and multitask effectively. Critical thinking and excellent problem-solving skills. Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD and Solidworks.

Experience

A minimum of 9 years in engineering roles, with experience in the eyewear industry considered advantageous.
