Role & Responsibilities
- Manage accounts receivable, credit control, invoicing, collections, and financial reporting for the Hong Kong operation.
- Ensure accurate financial records and effective credit risk management.
- Perform new customer account setup and verification of customer background checks.
- Maintain and update customer master data, credit limits, and GL mappings in SAP.
- Prepare and submit Internal Credit Limit applications.
- Conduct daily credit checks and support ongoing credit risk monitoring.
- Support billing and invoicing activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare and issue semi-annual and annual rebate credit notes.
- Accurately post incoming customer receipts and perform timely cash posting.
- Prepare Notifications of Overdue Accounts for credit insurance non-payment declaration.
- Issue Statements of Account to customers and perform follow-ups on outstanding balances.
- Prepare weekly cash-in and collection reports for management review.
- Generate accounts receivable ageing reports and assist in credit risk reporting.
- Maintain customer master data and handle banking-related activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in Accounting, Accounts Receivable, and Credit Control, preferably in a multinational environment.
- Hands-on experience with SAP or other ERP systems is an advantage.
- Familiarity with credit risk management, invoicing, and collection processes.
