Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage accounts receivable, credit control, invoicing, collections, and financial reporting for the Hong Kong operation.
  • Ensure accurate financial records and effective credit risk management.
  • Perform new customer account setup and verification of customer background checks.
  • Maintain and update customer master data, credit limits, and GL mappings in SAP.
  • Prepare and submit Internal Credit Limit applications.
  • Conduct daily credit checks and support ongoing credit risk monitoring.
  • Support billing and invoicing activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare and issue semi-annual and annual rebate credit notes.
  • Accurately post incoming customer receipts and perform timely cash posting.
  • Prepare Notifications of Overdue Accounts for credit insurance non-payment declaration.
  • Issue Statements of Account to customers and perform follow-ups on outstanding balances.
  • Prepare weekly cash-in and collection reports for management review.
  • Generate accounts receivable ageing reports and assist in credit risk reporting.
  • Maintain customer master data and handle banking-related activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
  • 2–4 years of relevant experience in Accounting, Accounts Receivable, and Credit Control, preferably in a multinational environment.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP or other ERP systems is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with credit risk management, invoicing, and collection processes.

Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. High level of accuracy and accountability. Good interpersonal and follow-up skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Compliance and control-oriented mindset. Proficiency in English and Cantonese; Mandarin is an advantage.

Experience

2–4 years of relevant experience in Accounting, Accounts Receivable, and Credit Control, preferably in a multinational environment.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
