Kering Technologies seeks a DATA Tech Lead in Scandicci, Italy to coordinate analytics engineering across domains and drive best practices.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Facilitate communication and synchronization between Tech Leads and squads across multiple data domains to ensure shared understanding of priorities, dependencies and risks.
  • Drive harmonization of engineering and analytics practices, promoting chapter-wide standards for code quality, observability, documentation and delivery.
  • Coordinate and follow up on transversal initiatives (engineering foundations, tooling, quality improvements), monitoring progress and escalating risks to chapter leadership.
  • Centralize and consolidate cross-squad information to provide clear visibility to leadership and to align engineering execution with business priorities.
  • Enable people and leadership development by supporting Tech Leads, fostering a community of Analytics Engineering, and encouraging knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Tech Lead, Senior Engineer, or Engineering Manager within data or software engineering environments.
  • Deep understanding of data engineering and analytics concepts, including datalake, data warehouse and distributed data platform patterns (Data Mesh).
  • Proficiency in SQL, ETL/ELT development, data modeling and working with databases such as Oracle and BigQuery.
  • Strong expertise in GCP data services (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Airflow) and hands‑on experience with DBT.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate across teams and domains without hierarchical authority; excellent communication and facilitation skills.
  • Experience in agile@scale environments and familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
  • Fluency in English and Italian; organized, proactive, empathetic and comfortable in a leadership posture.

Experience

Proven track record as a Tech Lead, Senior Engineer, or Engineering Manager in data or software engineering contexts, with experience coordinating cross-team delivery, managing dependencies and working in agile@scale environments.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
