Role & Responsibilities
- Support the development and maintenance of data product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with company objectives and stakeholder requirements.
- Contribute to ideation, design, implementation and iterative improvement of customer-focused data products and features.
- Gather and prioritise stakeholder requirements, translate needs into user stories and product specifications, and update the data catalog and related documentation.
- Support data governance activities across customer datasets: identify risks, propose remediation and monitor governance improvements.
- Manage data quality incidents by identifying root causes, tracking fixes and ensuring resolution with data teams.
- Participate in agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) and communicate progress, risks and opportunities to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Management, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Data Engineering, Business School or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the capacity to manage multiple topics in parallel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with data visualisation tools such as Tableau or Power BI is a plus.
- Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban) is preferred and an advantage for the role.
- Demonstrated interest in data-driven decision-making and a career focus on data product management.
Skills
Experience
Student-level experience is required; candidates should be currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate or graduate programme. Any prior internships or academic projects involving data governance, analytics, product management or work in agile teams will be considered an advantage.
Education
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Management, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Data Engineering, Business School or a related discipline.
