Data Engineer
Kering — Data Engineer (Paris): join the Data & AI Platform team to build and operate the Group's cloud data platform (GCP, BigQuery, dbt).

Role & Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain platform components and services (data pipelines, reusable frameworks, governance modules and automation).
- Contribute to and enforce platform architecture and security by participating in Architecture Decision Records (ADRs).
- Provide second/third‑line user support: investigate incidents, remediate issues and drive reliability and performance improvements.
- Promote platform adoption through active participation in developer communities and Chapters, sharing best practices and onboarding domain teams.
- Collaborate with the Product Owner and multidisciplinary teams to prioritise work, shape the product vision and implement continuous service enhancements.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Cloud & Data engineering role.
- Proven experience with cloud data services — ideally on GCP (BigQuery, dbt, Dataflow, Airflow, Pub/Sub).
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python; practical experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code patterns.
- Experience with relational (Postgres) and NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with Agile ways of working and associated tooling (Jira, Confluence); knowledge of IT best practices (DevOps, ITIL, FinOps).
- Fluency in English, written and spoken. Cloud certification is a plus.

Experience
At least three years of hands‑on experience in Cloud & Data environments, with demonstrable delivery of data pipelines, platform components and operational support within agile organisations.
Education
Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
