Kenzo in Paris seeks a Materials Development Intern for a 6-month on-site internship starting Sept 2026, supporting PLM, fabric development and supplier coordination.

Overview

Role & Responsibilities

  • Update and maintain material datasheets for studio, development and merchandising teams.
  • Manage and update the cut-order tracking table and master collection files, ensuring data consistency.
  • Enter purchase orders into the company accounting software and follow confirmations with suppliers.
  • Collect supplier prices and technical packs; send and monitor technical dossiers to ensure completeness.
  • Create and code materials in the PLM (codifications, technical information, pricing) and perform PLM extractions and data processing.
  • Perform material scans and ensure correct integration into the PLM; maintain the fabric library (tissuthèque).
  • Coordinate supplier follow-ups (technical packs, order confirmations) and track progress on supplier onboarding dossiers.
  • Represent the materials team during visits to suppliers and at professional trade shows.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in a Bac+4/5 (Master's-level) program in business, fashion, or textile engineering.
  • Proven ability to work with MS Office (Pack Office) for data management and reporting.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, rigour and a professional, collaborative manner.
  • Dynamism and good interpersonal skills for supplier coordination and cross‑functional collaboration.
  • Availability for a 6‑month on-site internship beginning September 2026.
