Operational Marketing Intern
Kendo (LVMH) — Operational Marketing Intern in Paris: 6‑month internship supporting Fenty Beauty EU product launches and trade marketing.
Overview
Kendo Brands is the beauty incubator within the LVMH group, recognised for launching and managing culturally resonant, high-performance cosmetics brands such as Fenty Beauty and Ole Henriksen. Operating with an entrepreneurial, fast-moving mindset inside a luxury conglomerate, Kendo combines start-up agility with LVMH's strategic and operational rigour.
Role & Responsibilities
- Coordinate and ensure successful product launches across Europe, including execution of launch plans and delivery of product matrices and creative assets to e-commerce partners (notably Sephora).
- Monitor and analyse product and campaign performance; produce regular reporting and actionable recommendations for markets and HQ.
- Support local markets by deploying targeted marketing initiatives and ensuring CRM visibility of the brand.
- Manage commercial levers: country allocations, order placement, logistical follow-up and budget tracking.
- Conduct price studies, competitive intelligence, trend monitoring and benchmarking to inform brand strategy.
- Develop and follow up Trade Marketing activations across countries: write briefs, oversee production, validate POS/PLV materials and analyse activation performance.
- Provide day-to-day support to the Brand Manager: maintain 360° marketing plans, update reporting tools, coordinate calls/meetings with US headquarters and follow up specific requests.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in a Master's-level programme (Bac+4/5) in Marketing, Business, Luxury Management or related discipline.
- Fluent written and spoken English (mandatory).
- Strong organisational autonomy, proactivity and ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail and capacity to liaise with internal and external stakeholders across time zones.
- Genuine interest in cosmetics and appetite for working in a start-up-like, brand-driven environment.
Skills
Experience
Beginner level; prior internships or academic projects in brand marketing, trade marketing or e‑commerce are advantageous. The role is designed for a current Master's student seeking practical exposure to European product launches and 360° brand management.
Education
Master's degree in progress (Bac+4/5) in Marketing, Business, Luxury Management or a related field.
