Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a clientele through proactive client outreach and relationship building.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to create business-driving initiatives and events.
  • Ensure associates utilize client books to generate sales and adhere to clientele standards.
  • Supervise and model the selling environment, providing coaching on sales processes.
  • Assist the Store Manager in achieving financial success and assume managerial duties in their absence.
  • Educate the team on product knowledge and sales plans, and coach them to meet business goals.
  • Network within the community to fill open positions efficiently and manage recruitment duties.
  • Onboard new team members and conduct performance assessments through regular meetings.
  • Communicate the Kate Spade brand aesthetic and philosophy to the sales team and customers.
  • Ensure brand and operational standards are met, including visual merchandising and store presentation.
  • Perform and supervise store opening and closing procedures, maintaining inventory integrity.
  • Assist in managing payroll budgets and adhere to company policies with a focus on loss prevention.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of management experience in a comparable retail environment.
  • College degree preferred.
  • Prior experience in luxury goods preferred.
