Kama Ayurveda is hiring a Store Manager in London (Harrods) to lead the Harrods boutique and drive luxury beauty retail performance.

Overview

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day operations of the Harrods boutique, ensuring impeccable presentation and adherence to brand standards.
  • Drive sales performance and achieve revenue, conversion and average‑transaction targets through coaching and commercial planning.
  • Develop and sustain high-value client relationships via proactive clienteling, personalised service and CRM utilisation.
  • Recruit, train and mentor the store team, setting performance expectations and delivering ongoing coaching and development.
  • Manage inventory, stock replenishment and loss-prevention procedures; oversee visual merchandising and product launches.
  • Coordinate store events, masterclasses and VIP appointments in partnership with the marketing and wholesale teams.
  • Produce regular sales and KPI reports; implement corrective actions to optimise store profitability and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure full compliance with health & safety, cash-handling, HR and Harrods-specific operational policies.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing a luxury retail boutique or department store concession, preferably within beauty or cosmetics.
  • Demonstrable track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving commercial growth.
  • Strong leadership capability with experience recruiting, developing and retaining high-performing retail teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer-service skills with a polished, client-facing demeanour suited to a luxury environment.
  • Right to work in the UK and flexibility to work retail hours, including weekends and evenings.

Experience

Minimum three years' experience in retail management with at least some of that time in luxury beauty or premium retail settings; prior concession or department-store experience strongly preferred.

Education

Secondary education required; bachelor's degree in business, retail management, hospitality or a related discipline is advantageous.
