Jaeger-LeCoultre Paris is seeking a Retail Trainee (Apprenticeship) to join the boutique team in sales, clienteling and merchandising.

Overview

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support boutique sales through active clienteling, welcome and qualification of clients, and follow-up on appointments.
  • Contribute to merchandising and boutique presentation, ensuring displays reflect brand standards and seasonal directives.
  • Operate the point-of-sale, process transactions and assist with sales administration and client records.
  • Assist with stock management, deliveries, inventory reconciliation and returns in accordance with internal procedures.
  • Develop product expertise in Jaeger‑LeCoultre watch collections and effectively present technical details to clients.
  • Participate in in‑store events, VIP appointments and training sessions to support business objectives.
  • Provide after‑sales coordination with service teams and ensure high standards of client care and confidentiality.
  • Collaborate with the boutique team on daily operational tasks to maintain high levels of boutique efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an alternance/apprenticeship programme or higher education in Luxury Management, Retail, Business or Horology.
  • Strong interest in luxury watches, craftsmanship and client service.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a client-focused attitude and polished presentation.
  • Organised, reliable and able to manage administrative tasks with attention to detail.
  • Flexible availability to work retail hours including weekends and peak periods.
  • Previous retail or luxury internship experience is advantageous but not mandatory.

Experience

Entry-level role suitable for candidates enrolled in an academic programme; prior retail or luxury internship experience is a plus but not required.

Enrolment in an apprenticeship/alternance or higher-education programme (BTS, Bachelor, Master) in Luxury Management, Retail, Business or Horology.
