Jaeger‑LeCoultre seeks a Marketing & Store Design Planning Manager in Tokyo to lead retail design, visual merchandising and marketing activation for its boutiques.

Role & Responsibilities
- Define and execute retail marketing plans and in‑store design strategies aligned with global brand directives and local market dynamics.
- Lead store design planning projects from concept through implementation, coordinating internal stakeholders, external architects, contractors, and visual merchandising teams.
- Translate product and campaign narratives into cohesive spatial experiences, ensuring consistency of brand identity across flagship and boutique environments.
- Manage project budgets, timelines and procurement for fixtures, materials and installations, ensuring cost control and quality standards.
- Prepare clear design briefs, technical drawings and presentation materials for approval by regional and global teams.
- Oversee rollout and site supervision during store fit‑outs and visual refreshes, resolving on‑site issues and ensuring compliance with brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with Retail, CRM, Buying and Communications teams to integrate merchandising, client experience and promotional requirements into store layouts.
- Monitor retail KPIs and post‑installation performance to inform continuous improvement of store concepts and marketing activations.
- Maintain relationships with external design agencies, suppliers and production partners; negotiate scopes of work and contracts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Industrial Design, Marketing or equivalent discipline.
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in retail store planning, visual merchandising or retail marketing; luxury goods experience strongly preferred.
- Proven track record managing end‑to‑end store design or refurbishment projects, including budget and vendor management.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to interpret retail KPIs and translate them into design-driven solutions.
- Excellent communication skills in Japanese and business-level English are highly desirable (language requirements to be confirmed by employer).

Typically requires 3–5 years of progressive experience managing retail design, store planning or visual merchandising projects, preferably within the luxury watch, jewelry or high‑end fashion sectors. Demonstrated experience coordinating cross‑functional teams and external suppliers through multiple store rollouts is expected.

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Industrial Design, Marketing or a related field.
