Role & Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Ginza Namiki boutique, ensuring exceptional client experience and strict adherence to brand standards.
  • Drive sales performance and commercial results through goal-setting, daily management, and mobilisation of the sales team.
  • Develop and sustain high-value client relationships and VIP programmes through proactive clienteling and personalised service.
  • Recruit, train and mentor boutique staff, cultivating a culture of product knowledge, luxury service and continuous improvement.
  • Manage inventory, stock visualisation and merchandise allocation in collaboration with regional retail and logistics teams.
  • Oversee visual merchandising and store presentation to ensure alignment with global campaigns and seasonal directives.
  • Control operating expenses and contribute to financial reporting, forecasting and P&L accountability at the boutique level.
  • Coordinate in-store events, product launches and local PR initiatives in partnership with the marketing team and external partners.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of leadership in luxury retail with progressive responsibility for a boutique or flagship store.
  • Demonstrable ability to meet and exceed sales targets while protecting brand integrity and customer experience.
  • Strong commercial acumen including inventory control, stock planning and basic financial reporting.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on client relationship management and high-net-worth clientele.
  • Deep appreciation of watchmaking or luxury product heritage; product knowledge or experience in haute horlogerie is highly desirable.

Experience
