IWC Schaffhausen is hiring a Visual Merchandising Intern in Schaffhausen — full‑time internship supporting window and in‑store displays for the boutique.

Role & Responsibilities
- Support the implementation of window concepts and in-store displays across the Schaffhausen boutique according to global VM guidelines.
- Prepare material, build prototypes and arrange props; carry out mock-ups and final installations under supervision.
- Document displays through photography and detailed reports; maintain an organised archive of layouts, planograms and style guides.
- Coordinate with boutique management, retail teams and the global VM department to ensure visual consistency and timely roll-out of campaigns and product launches.
- Manage VM inventory and sourcing of props and materials; assist with supplier liaison and logistical follow-through for installations.
- Contribute creative ideas to seasonal campaigns, events and local merchandising initiatives while adhering to brand standards and technical constraints.
Qualifications
- Enrollment in or recent completion of a tertiary programme in Visual Merchandising, Fashion Design, Interior Design, Set Design or a related discipline.
- A curated portfolio or visual documentation demonstrating strong composition, spatial awareness and an eye for luxury presentation.
- Hands-on aptitude for construction and styling; ability to translate 2D concepts into executed 3D displays.
- Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the capacity to manage multiple small-scale projects concurrently.
- Professional attitude, reliable time management and the ability to work collaboratively with retail and creative teams.
Skills
Experience
Prior retail, visual merchandising or creative internship experience is advantageous; relevant student projects or freelance display work will be considered. Demonstrated ability to assist in physical installations and to document visual solutions is expected.
Education
Enrolled in or recently graduated from a university/college programme in Visual Merchandising, Fashion Design, Interior Design, Set Design or a related field.
