Hour Passion / The Swatch Group seeks a Part-time Sales Associate in Roermond — 24–32 hrs, client-focused retail role in a luxury watch boutique.

Overview

Hour Passion operates within The Swatch Group Netherlands, the national sales organisation representing a portfolio of prestigious Swiss watch brands including Swatch, Omega, Longines, Tissot, Hamilton, Certina, Rado and Balmain. The Swatch Group is a globally recognised luxury watch conglomerate; its Dutch operations supply independent jewellers and large retailers while also managing branded retail locations such as Swatch Stores, the Tissot Boutique in Amsterdam and Hour Passion outlets.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional, personalised customer service to clients visiting the Hour Passion boutique; advise on product features, fit and after‑sales care for luxury watches.
  • Drive sales performance by proactively presenting collections, converting footfall into transactions and meeting store KPIs.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships through clienteling activities, follow‑up communications and after‑sales support to build loyalty and repeat business.
  • Maintain exemplary visual merchandising and brand presentation standards across windows and sales floor displays.
  • Manage stock, perform regular inventory checks and assist with receiving, tagging and replenishment of merchandise.
  • Process sales transactions accurately using the point‑of‑sale system; undertake cash handling and end‑of‑day reconciliation when required.
  • Support store operations including opening/closing procedures, housekeeping and participation in in‑store events or brand activations.

Qualifications

  • Proven retail sales experience — typically 1–2 years, preferably in luxury retail, watches or jewellery.
  • Professional and presentable demeanour with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to meet sales targets and work to commercial objectives.
  • Flexible availability to work 24–32 hours per week, including weekends and peak trading periods.
  • Right to work in the Netherlands.

Experience

Typically 1–2 years of frontline retail sales experience is required; experience within luxury goods, watches or jewellery is strongly preferred.

Secondary education completed; vocational training in retail or hospitality (MBO level) is an advantage.
