Role & Responsibilities

  • Act as the in‑store authority for Watches & Fine Jewellery, delivering detailed technical explanations on complications, movements, materials and craftsmanship.
  • Translate technical complexity into compelling storytelling that situates pieces within heritage, technique and client lifestyles to inspire and reassure purchasers.
  • Guide and support clients through considered selection without sales pressure, partnering with Client Relationship Specialists on appointments and personalised follow‑ups.
  • Design and deliver structured training and day‑to‑day mentoring to elevate team capability and ensure consistent selling ceremony across the Maison.
  • Provide actionable feedback to Retail Merchandising and leadership on client preferences, product performance and assortment opportunities.
  • Support in‑store activations and cross‑Maison appointments to ensure an elevated, consistent client experience for Watches & Fine Jewellery.
  • Serve as the technical reference for specifications and objections handling; assist Sales and Service Support in sourcing alternatives and technical problem solving.
  • Develop and communicate training plans aligned with buying strategy, visual priorities and current assortment; ensure adoption of tools and resources.

Qualifications

  • Proven specialist experience in Watches and Fine Jewellery within a luxury retail environment.
  • In‑depth technical knowledge of watch complications, movements, materials and fine jewellery construction.
  • Solid understanding of gemology, precious stones and jewellery setting techniques.
  • Demonstrable experience advising HNW clients through a relationship‑led, discreet and consultative approach.
  • Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into accessible, inspiring narratives and to deliver structured training to colleagues.
