Sustainability Project Assistant (Apprenticeship)
Hermès Sellier in Pantin seeks a Sustainability Project Assistant (apprenticeship) to support the Footwear sustainability team in circularity, impact assessment and RSE data (12-month).
Overview
Hermès Sellier is a French luxury Maison renowned for artisanal leather goods and excellence in craftsmanship. The Footwear métier sits within the Maison’s network of métiers and combines in-house ateliers and industrial partners to produce and commercialize collections through an integrated global retail network.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the deployment of the Footwear métier’s sustainability strategy under the supervision of the Sustainability Project Manager.
- Pilot operational circularity initiatives and contribute to projects promoting reuse, repair and material circularity.
- Contribute to the Maison’s ambition to eliminate non-essential single-use plastics and support related implementation workstreams.
- Participate in R&D projects linked to product circularity and sustainable materials.
- Formalize and document ‘low environmental impact’ best practices for design and production.
- Contribute to environmental impact assessments of products and assist in implementing improvement projects across the value chain.
- Help define RSE (CSR) performance indicators and contribute to the deployment of a performance-tracking tool.
- Assist in improving the quality and reliability of sustainability data and reporting.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in or holder of Bac +4/5 (engineering school, business school, IEP) or a Master in Sustainable Development / CSR.
- Strong numerical rigour and ability to manipulate quantitative data.
- Demonstrated analytical and synthesis skills.
- Genuine interest and curiosity for environmental topics and sustainability challenges.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of Italian is a plus.

Experience
Open to early-career candidates and students (beginners accepted). Prior internships or project experience in sustainability, environmental assessment or data analysis is advantageous but not required.
Education
Currently pursuing or recently completed Bac +4/5 in engineering, business school, IEP or a master’s in Sustainable Development / CSR.
