Stock Controller
Hermès Ibérica seeks a Temporary Stock Controller in Madrid (Canalejas) to manage inventory, receptions and stock operations.
Overview

Role & Responsibilities
- Ensure optimal stock management to guarantee product availability, quality and security within the store.
- Act as back-up to the Stock Manager for central-warehouse product pulls, including daily monitoring of store stock levels and short- and mid-term demand analysis.
- Plan and place stock requests according to lead times and anticipated sales; execute product pulls from the central warehouse.
- Receive merchandise: validate deliveries in the system, label items and ensure correct placement in the stockroom.
- Control incoming and stored goods qualitatively and quantitatively; organise physical storage to maximise accessibility and protection of products.
- Manage stock movements (In/Out), validate transfers and maintain accurate transactional records.
- Analyse historical transaction data and monitor price updates to support replenishment decisions.
- Maintain administrative compliance with group processes and participate actively in partial and full inventories.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years' experience in stock or inventory management within retail.
- Proficient in Excel; experience with stock management systems such as CEGID is highly desirable.
- Strong organisational precision and proven ability to manage logistics workflows.
- Analytical mindset with strategic understanding of inventory flows and demand planning.
- Effective team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- English required (minimum B2); fluent French is a plus.

Experience
Minimum three years of hands-on experience managing stock or inventory in a retail environment, preferably within the luxury sector or premium retail operations.
Education
Secondary education (high school diploma) or equivalent; vocational training in logistics, supply chain or retail operations is an advantage.
