Stock Controller
Hermès — Lisbon: Stock Controller role managing inventory, merchandise reception and stock flows. Portuguese required, 3+ years.

Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain optimized control of the store’s inventory to ensure product availability, quality and security.
- Act as backup to the Stock Manager for withdrawals from the central warehouse (Vémars), including planning and executing stock pulls.
- Monitor daily stock levels, analyse short- and medium-term product needs and request merchandise from the central warehouse based on sales input from Floor Managers and commercial strategy.
- Plan orders according to lead times and follow shipments from the central warehouse to in-store reception.
- Receive merchandise, validate and register goods in the system, apply product labelling and ensure correct placement.
- Carry out qualitative and quantitative quality control of incoming merchandise.
- Manage physical storage and organisation of the stockroom with a systematic, logistics-focused approach.
- Control stock movements (transfers in/out) and validate stock transactions in the system.
- Analyse transaction history and support price update processes.
- Ensure administrative follow-up in compliance with Group procedures and participate actively in periodic and full inventories.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years' experience in stock/inventory management within retail.
- Native-level Portuguese required.
- Proficient English (minimum B2) — applicants will undertake an English test.
- Strong organisational accuracy and attention to detail.
- Analytical mindset with strategic thinking and a solid understanding of logistics flows.
- Effective team-working, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of stock management software; hands-on experience with CEGID is highly valued.

Experience
Minimum three years of demonstrated experience managing stock or inventory within a retail environment, preferably luxury retail and with exposure to central warehouse operations.
Education
Secondary education (high school) required; vocational training or certificate in logistics, supply chain or retail operations is preferred.
