Stock Controller
Hermès Argentina seeks a Stock Controller in Buenos Aires — 11‑month contract starting 2026-04-06, responsible for inventory control, cycle counts and replenishment.

Role & Responsibilities
- Support inbound and outbound merchandise processes to ensure alignment between physical stock and system records (receiving, transfers, shipments, returns).
- Perform daily replenishment of sales-floor and back‑office storage areas, including products and packaging materials.
- Monitor and support daily resolution of negative inventory items and investigate stock discrepancies.
- Prepare and assist with inventory conferences and cycle counts, including physical counting and documentation.
- Contribute to final reporting for cycle counts and provide analysis of variance drivers.
- Propose corrective actions—methods, tools and training—to improve future inventory count accuracy.
- Help implement and maintain best-practice storage procedures for both back‑office and front‑of‑house areas.
- Report operational issues and inventory KPIs during team meetings and morning briefings.
- Provide operational support to the sales team as needed (stock locating, internal transfers, ad hoc requests).
Qualifications
- Minimum three years’ experience in inventory control, stockroom operations or retail logistics.
- Proven ability to perform physical stock handling (lifting boxes, moving shelving, etc.).
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Intermediate to advanced English communication skills.
- Availability for the stated schedule: Monday–Friday 10:45–19:15 and Saturday 09:45–13:15.
- Willingness to work on a fixed-term (limited) contract of approximately 11 months starting 2026-04-06.

Experience
Minimum three years’ hands-on experience in inventory management, stock control or warehouse/retail operations; prior experience in luxury retail or high-value merchandise handling is an advantage.
Education
High-school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certificate in logistics, retail operations or supply‑chain management preferred.
