Hermès Distribution France in Paris seeks a Sales Intern (Retail Sales Advisor) for May–Aug at Magasin de Sèvres — internship requiring a student convention and English fluency.

Overview

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver an exceptional, personalised client experience in the Magasin de Sèvres by welcoming clients warmly, listening actively and adapting to local and international clientele.
  • Support the sales process end-to-end: qualify needs, present and promote Hermès creations, and identify upsell and conversion opportunities.
  • Work collaboratively with the store team to drive sales performance and contribute to daily shop operations.
  • Ensure client follow‑up by finding solutions, researching requested information and maintaining client satisfaction so that enquiries are never left unresolved.
  • Act as an ambassador for the Maison: transmit Hermès values, highlight artisanship and contribute to recruiting and retaining a national and international clientele.
  • Adopt and use digital communication tools to support clienteling and in‑store engagement.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an educational programme and able to provide a mandatory internship agreement (convention de stage).
  • Available for the full internship period from May to the end of August.
  • Professional command of English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, warmth and an engaging client approach.
  • Discretion, humility and exemplary conduct in a luxury retail environment.
  • Comfortable with digital tools and new means of communication.

Experience
