Hermès Sellier seeks a Sales Advisor (part-time, Fri & Sat) in Deauville, France for a 1‑year fixed-term contract.

Overview

Hermès Sellier is a distinguished French maison known for its artisanal leather goods, silk, ready-to-wear and lifestyle collections. Role & Responsibilities

  • Sell across all product departments, proactively identifying and converting client opportunities to drive store revenue.
  • Collaborate with the store team to achieve collective commercial targets and sustain a high standard of boutique presentation.
  • Ensure an exemplary client experience by anticipating needs, resolving enquiries and coordinating with the external relations lead when appropriate.
  • Build and manage an autonomous client file (clienteling) and execute systematic follow-up to recruit and retain national and international clients.
  • Act as an ambassador of Maison Hermès by conveying the brand’s values and highlighting the work of the artisans.
  • Participate in store operations including inventories, merchandising reconfigurations, stock organisation and maintenance of departmental standards.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of retail experience, preferably in luxury or premium environments.
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken.
  • Demonstrable passion for client service and a results-driven sales orientation.
  • Dynamic, audacious temperament with an ability to work across an extended sales area.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, warm client manner and humility in conduct.
  • Proficiency with digital tools and new communication channels.

Experience

At least 1 year of hands-on retail experience; experience within a luxury or premium brand is strongly preferred.
