Overview
Hermès International is a globally recognised French maison of luxury goods renowned for artisanal craftsmanship, refinement and long-term stewardship of brand heritage. The role sits within the Group Commercial Directorate’s Retail Operations, a central expertise hub responsible for operational excellence, technical solutions and the retail network’s sustainability agenda.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the deployment of sustainability awareness and training programmes for retail teams: prepare pedagogical materials, monitor roll-out and collect field feedback.
- Design and produce engagement campaigns and communication assets for the network of in-store sustainability ambassadors.
- Monitor and support retail subsidiaries in achieving in-store RSE/CSR objectives: implement and follow KPIs, prioritise improvement plans and highlight local best practices.
- Initiate and follow waste-management projects in stores, including local revalorisation and recycling operations.
- Contribute to the Zero Destruction ambition: assist the animation of USE campaigns, support the No Des committee and coordinate related recycling initiatives with subsidiaries.
- Participate in cross-departmental projects as required, propose improvements, and assist in updating internal communication tools (guidelines, newsletters, practical sheets).
- Collect and consolidate network activity data, prepare concise reports and assist with stakeholder coordination across Retail Operations and Group Sustainable Development teams.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a higher-education programme (Bachelor’s or Master’s level) in sustainability, environmental management, CSR, business or a related discipline and eligible for a 12‑month apprenticeship starting September 2026.
- Excellent command of English, both written and oral.
- Good knowledge of sustainability / RSE concepts and an ability to approach topics from human, technical, financial and communication angles.
- Very strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and the ability to manipulate quantitative data with rigour.
- Reliable, organised, autonomous, able to manage multiple projects and produce high-quality, detail-oriented deliverables.

Experience
Entry-level / beginners accepted; prior internships or project experience in sustainability, CSR or cross‑functional project management is a plus.
Education
Currently enrolled in a higher-education programme (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in sustainability, environmental management, CSR, business or related field; eligible for an apprenticeship contract.
