Retail Planning Business Analyst (Apprenticeship)
Hermès Sellier (Paris) seeks a Retail Planning Business Analyst Apprentice to support KPI analysis and open-to-buy management for the French boutique network.

Role & Responsibilities
- Monitor weekly and monthly retail KPIs by product category, collection and boutique (sales, months of stock, sell-through, delivery rates, etc.) and escalate variances.
- Collaborate with category merchandisers to scope replenishment plans, review performance-to-date and define corrective action plans.
- Manage delivery-rate tracking for collections, liaising with product teams and logistics to resolve supply issues.
- Build, manage and pilot boutiques’ open-to-buy for showroom purchases: define purchase budgets by department and by store according to stock landing.
- Oversee daily purchase follow-up to ensure adherence to budgets and identify top purchases.
- Produce end-of-campaign summary documents and management-ready reporting deliverables.
- Design ad-hoc analyses and contribute to continuous improvement of reporting tools, dashboards and processes.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in a Grande École de Commerce or an École d'Ingénieur (gap year or final-year apprenticeship); eligible for an apprenticeship contract.
- Strong numerical aptitude with a keen interest for retail commercial performance and product assortments.
- Excellent command of Excel (databases, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIF) and PowerPoint; Power BI is a plus.
- Autonomous, rigorous and attentive to detail with a results-driven mindset and propensity to take initiative.
- Ability to perform under pressure and adapt to peaks of activity while collaborating across cross‑functional teams.

Experience
Beginners accepted; suitable for students in a business or engineering programme seeking an alternance/apprenticeship. Prior retail or merchandising experience is advantageous but not required.
Education
Currently enrolled in a Grande École de Commerce or an École d'Ingénieur (césure or final-year apprenticeship track).
