Hermès Sellier — Bobigny: Retail Planning Assistant (Intern) to support order management and store supply (6‑month internship).

Overview

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support Retail Planners in day-to-day provisioning to ensure optimal merchandise and service supply to stores.
  • Manage the order portfolio: monitor shipments, set priorities, and follow up on achievement of billing commitments.
  • Launch and track preparation requests and ensure timely execution of store allocations.
  • Coordinate transfers and manage returns, overstocks and unsold merchandise in collaboration with Commercial Activities and subsidiaries.
  • Prepare and distribute communications and operational notes to the retail network; track follow-up actions.
  • Produce analyses and reporting for market review meetings and provide anticipatory alerts to subsidiaries and line managers.
  • Respond to requests related to assigned order portfolios and maintain high standards of service and quality in line with Hermès values.

Qualifications

  • Current enrolment in a tertiary programme (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in supply chain, logistics, business administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong commercial interest and affinity for retail operations.
  • Good analytical skills with an ability to prepare clear reports and commercial analyses.
  • Comfortable with information systems and enterprise software; demonstrated IT aptitude.
  • Client-oriented with a solid service mindset and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive, reactive and rigorous with a high degree of adaptability and organisational agility.
  • Fluent English (spoken and written).

Experience

Open to beginners; the position accepts candidates with little or no professional experience. Prior internships or initial exposure to retail planning, logistics or commercial operations are advantageous but not required.

Education

Enrolment in a Bachelor's or Master's programme in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Commerce or a closely related discipline is preferred.
