Hermès Holding Textile — Payroll Assistant (Apprenticeship) in Lyon (Pierre-Bénite). 12-month alternance starting Sept 2026, reporting to the Payroll Manager.

Overview

Holding Textile Hermès is the textile production arm serving the Hermès group and external markets, coordinating activities from weaving to finishing and shipping across a network of mostly Rhône‑Alpes–based sites. The holding comprises multiple operational entities and centralized support functions (supply chain, IT, finance, HR, creation), and operates within the standards and values of the Hermès group.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Provide operational support to the payroll team, including preparation and consolidation of reporting.
  • Assist the Payroll Manager on ad hoc payroll events (13th month, profit-sharing/bonus operations, etc.).
  • Support time and attendance administration and related reconciliations.
  • Enter and validate variable compensation elements and payroll inputs.
  • Contribute to the preparation and filing of statutory training and apprenticeship taxes.
  • Manage follow-up of employee sick leave with social agencies and the affected employees.

Qualifications

  • Higher education at Bac+3 level in payroll, human resources or a closely related discipline.
  • Good command of Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills.
  • Familiarity with ADP payroll software is a plus.
  • First experience or internship in payroll is appreciated but not required.
  • Professional qualities: adaptability, strong interpersonal skills, versatility, rigor and organisational ability; proactive mindset.

Experience

Beginners accepted; prior exposure to payroll (internship or first role) is advantageous but not mandatory.

Education
