CREATION JMC (Hermès) in Toulouse seeks a Multiskilled Production Operator for a 5‑month fixed‑term contract starting April 2026.

Overview

CREATION JMC is a renowned, human‑scale jewellery atelier integrated into H.A.B, the internal manufacturing pole of Hermès Bijouterie. The workshop executes mid‑ and high‑jewellery projects and works alongside sister sites in the Paris region, Toulouse and Lyon, combining traditional artisanal savoir‑faire (jewellery making, polishing, setting) with development capabilities via an in‑house design office and industrialisation team.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect and prepare outgoing and incoming shipments; manage shipping and receiving documentation.
  • Control piece weights and packaging to ensure conformity with specifications.
  • Monitor and maintain stock levels; perform inventory tracking and cycle counts.
  • Place and track orders for consumables and workshop materials.
  • Complete and maintain operational reporting and follow established KPIs.
  • Operate engraving software to mark pieces as required.
  • Perform finishing operations including Koras, lacquering and adhesive assembly, and conduct self‑checks on completed work.
  • Analyse components to detect defects and escalate production issues when necessary.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of professional experience in production, workshop operations, logistics or administrative support.
  • Demonstrated organisational rigour, autonomy, punctuality and responsiveness.
  • Strong team spirit with a service‑oriented attitude toward colleagues.
  • Good communication skills and ability to document work precisely.
  • Comfortable with basic IT tools (Word, Excel) and able to learn engraving software quickly.
  • Interest in manual crafts and fine‑detail work; first administrative experience is an asset.

Experience

At least 1 year of relevant experience in manufacturing, jewellery production, workshop logistics or administrative functions. Prior exposure to jewellery finishing techniques and basic inventory/stock management is preferred.

Education

No formal university degree required; vocational training (e.g. CAP/BEP) or equivalent experience in jewellery, watchmaking, logistics or production preferred.
