Overview

Hermès Manufacture de Métaux (HMM) is the Hermès Group's specialist atelier for precision metal components used across its luxury accessories. As part of the Hermès ecosystem, HMM combines artisanal savoir‑faire with industrial development practices to deliver high‑quality parts, working closely with design, production and quality teams across the house.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the industrialization of new metal products at the Champigny‑sur‑Marne site, supporting the full cycle from design to production launch.
  • Prepare and update 3D models, technical drawings and comprehensive manufacturing dossiers.
  • Perform industrial risk analyses, plan project phases and monitor milestone delivery against QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) and HSE indicators.
  • Follow prototypes and pre‑series production, collect laboratory test feedback and report non‑conformities to project leads.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional activities with engineering (BE), quality, production, purchasing and supply‑chain teams.
  • Maintain and update product data in product data management systems and participate in project progress meetings.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an engineering programme at Bac+4/5 level (engineering school or equivalent).
  • Working knowledge of SolidWorks, PDM, ERP and Pack Office.
  • Valid driving licence (Permis B).
  • High level of rigour, organisational discipline and a collaborative mindset.
  • Previous experience or internship in the luxury sector is an advantage.

Experience

Open to beginners and engineering students in training (Bac+4/5). Prior internships or any exposure to product development or the luxury industry are a plus.

Education

Engineering degree in progress (Bac+4/5) — engineering school or equivalent.
