Hermès Distribution France — Paris: Management Control Intern (6‑month internship) supporting reporting, budgeting and margin analysis.

Overview

Hermès Distribution France is the retail division of Hermès Sellier, operating a network of boutiques and a dedicated e‑commerce site to present the maison’s creations across its métiers. Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the Finance Department and report to the Head of Management Control for Hermès Distribution France.
  • Prepare and distribute reliable financial information and reporting for the division and for group consolidation.
  • Monitor French sales performance and contribute to daily, weekly and monthly reporting for the Executive Committee, Management Committee and store directors.
  • Participate in budget consolidation by store and by product during the annual budgeting cycle.
  • Feed actual and forward-looking data into the group reporting tool (Magnitude).
  • Investigate purchase variances between the management system and accounting records and analyse supplier credit notes following returns.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of reporting formats, processes and BI dashboards.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Master’s programme (Bac+5) in Finance, Accounting, Management Control or a closely related discipline.
  • Strong numerical aptitude and affinity for business intelligence tools.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel.
  • Methodical, rigorous and well organised; able to manage recurring reporting deadlines.

Experience

Open to early‑career candidates and students; previous internship experience in finance or reporting is a plus but not required (Beginners accepted).

Education

Enrolled in a Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Finance, Accounting, Management Control or related field.
