Commercial Support Apprentice
Hermès Sellier (Sèvres) seeks a Commercial Support Apprentice (Alternance) for omnichannel client service and order management, Sept 2026–Aug 2027.
Overview
Hermès Sellier is an internationally recognised French luxury house renowned for leather goods, ready-to-wear, accessories and maison collections. Its Retail/Distribution arm operates a network of boutiques and e-commerce sites dedicated to delivering the brand's craftsmanship, discretion and high-touch client service across France and abroad.
Role & Responsibilities
- Act as the omnichannel interface for the store: manage client orders, remote sales and inbound client requests with exemplary service standards.
- Process and validate client orders and special requests; prepare quotes and order documentation for Hermès Maison and Horizon transactions.
- Manage remote payment links and coordinate shipments for domestic and export deliveries.
- Liaise with the central contact centre via the Passerelle interface and act as privileged contact for client recovery under the 'Hermès Client Culture' approach.
- Coordinate inter-store transfers, notify clients of order availability and follow up until finalisation of the sale.
- Prepare documentation for business gifts and manage administrative aspects of order fulfilment and export paperwork.
Qualifications
- Minimum Bac+2/Bac+3 (associate degree or equivalent) or demonstrable retail/store experience.
- Excellent personal presentation and professional verbal communication.
- Fluent English (spoken and written) is mandatory.
- Strong customer-orientation, listening skills and persuasive interpersonal abilities.
- Organised, rigorous and capable of establishing and maintaining operational processes.
Skills
Experience
Open to beginners; prior experience in retail or store operational support is advantageous. Candidates with proven experience in order management, remote sales or customer-service roles will be well-suited.
Education
Bac+2 or Bac+3 (associate degree / undergraduate) or equivalent; relevant retail experience may be accepted in lieu of formal qualification.
