Color and Materials Assistant (Internship)
Hermès — Pantin: Color and Materials Assistant internship (6 months) supporting accessories colour and material development, start April 2026.
Overview

Role & Responsibilities
- Assist the accessories colourist in the creative development of seasonal colourways and material selections for accessories collections.
- Conduct visual research and compose colour ranges and ‘mouchet’ samples from written briefs.
- Select and test colour touches across materials (enamel, lacquer, leather, textile) using the material library and physical swatches.
- Produce colour simulations and mock-ups in Adobe Illustrator to visualise collections.
- Prepare and maintain colour technical sheets for Jewellery and Belts collections using Illustrator.
- Collaborate with studio stylists and wider collection teams to monitor project progress and update colour dossiers as required.
- Contribute to inspiration booklets and presentation dossiers for Art Direction reviews; prepare files for podium presentations.
- Archive and organise colour research and documentation on the shared network for ongoing reference.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a recognised course in textile design, graphic design, fashion or a related discipline.
- Strong sensitivity to colour, materials and surface treatment with a demonstrable creative curiosity.
- Organised, responsive and rigorous with an aptitude for collaborative studio work.
- Available for a full‑time six‑month internship beginning April 2026.

Beginners accepted. Suitable for students or recent graduates seeking a six‑month internship; prior coursework or short internships in textile, print or accessories design is advantageous but not mandatory.
Education
Enrolled in a fashion, textile, graphic design or related diploma/degree programme.
