Overview

Role & Responsibilities

  • Operate the point-of-sale: welcome clients, process payments with warmth and professionalism, and manage bank authorisations when necessary.
  • Ensure accurate cash handling: open and close the cash register, perform cash reconciliation and administrative cash management.
  • Apply group cash procedures and controls, including compliance with security and accounting policies.
  • Process tax-free (détaxe) transactions for eligible foreign clientele.
  • Advise and guide clients on products and services, adapting communication to a multicultural luxury clientele.
  • Contribute to team life by onboarding and supporting new colleagues, sharing enthusiasm, and assisting peers when needed.

Qualifications

  • Two-year post-secondary diploma (Bac+2) or equivalent, or demonstrable experience in a similar role.
  • Fluent English (required).
  • Comfort with numbers and basic accounting concepts.
  • Professional presentation, clear elocution and polished client-facing manner.
  • Availability to work Saturdays (role is exclusively on Saturdays).

Experience

Minimum 1 year of experience in cashiering or retail, ideally within a luxury or high-end retail environment.
