CAD Project Manager

Overview

Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and industrialize new products and bi-sourcing of metal accessories, ensuring adherence to Hermès quality standards and timelines.
- Manage the metallic materials and components activities for Leather Goods, from design to industrialization.
- Facilitate technical exchanges and project progress updates with CAO team leaders.
- Conceptualize CAD designs using SolidWorks and conduct feasibility and industrialization studies.
- Perform finite element simulations and participate in risk analysis (AMDEC/8D).
- Ensure functional analysis and participate in development meetings for model modifications and validations.
- Validate prototypes technically and create technical documentation (specifications, plans, etc.).
- Assign projects to MM suppliers and coordinate with CAO/Purchasing/Quality teams.
- Plan and monitor development and industrialization stages, ensuring effective reporting.
- Support prototyping phases and manage project risks with the Development and Quality Manager.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher (Bac+5) in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a design office.
- Proven experience in designing mechanical metal parts.
