Overview

Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop and industrialize new products and bi-sourcing of metal accessories, ensuring adherence to Hermès quality standards and timelines.
  • Manage the metallic materials and components activities for Leather Goods, from design to industrialization.
  • Facilitate technical exchanges and project progress updates with CAO team leaders.
  • Conceptualize CAD designs using SolidWorks and conduct feasibility and industrialization studies.
  • Perform finite element simulations and participate in risk analysis (AMDEC/8D).
  • Ensure functional analysis and participate in development meetings for model modifications and validations.
  • Validate prototypes technically and create technical documentation (specifications, plans, etc.).
  • Assign projects to MM suppliers and coordinate with CAO/Purchasing/Quality teams.
  • Plan and monitor development and industrialization stages, ensuring effective reporting.
  • Support prototyping phases and manage project risks with the Development and Quality Manager.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher (Bac+5) in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a design office.
  • Proven experience in designing mechanical metal parts.
