Maintenance Methods Technician — Process (Alternance)
Hennessy in Cognac seeks an Alternance Maintenance Methods Technician — Process (work‑study), on‑site role supporting preventive maintenance and CMMS.

Role & Responsibilities
- Create, document and maintain preventive maintenance plans for new and existing process equipment in the CMMS, based on regulatory standards, technical documentation and input from maintenance supervisors.
- Monitor preventive maintenance schedules, trigger alerts for anomalies and periodically (at least biennially or upon anomaly) review and update equipment preventive plans.
- Coordinate with the industrial spare‑parts warehouse to ensure availability and minimum stock levels for scheduled interventions (preventive and improvement works).
- Conduct recurring analyses on process equipment (Pareto analyses on stoppage causes, quality defects, etc.) to identify recurrent issues and plan corrective actions with supervisors.
- Develop standards and reference dossiers for machines and processes (troubleshooting, assembly/disassembly procedures, settings, reconfiguration) and maintain associated reference documents.
- Prepare maintenance interventions by extracting and formatting weekly intervention lists from the CMMS and allocating tasks and resources with Maintenance Activity Leads.
- Manage technical dossiers for process equipment: verify completeness of documentation for new equipment, add files to the electronic document management system (GED) and ensure ongoing qualitative updates.
- Plan and enter preventive, improvement and compliance work orders; update the CMMS database to reflect changes and produce individual work programmes for technicians.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a BTS MAI / MI / MS or equivalent vocational diploma (work‑study/alternance track).
- Beginner level of professional experience; suitable for students and recent graduates.
- Basic English (beginner) sufficient for technical reading.
- Familiarity with Office 365 (basic notions).
- Methodical, curious and rigorous with strong attention to technical detail.
- Available to work on‑site in Cognac and to operate within a 4.5‑day work week (Friday afternoons off).

Entry‑level position intended for students in alternance or candidates with little to no prior professional experience in industrial maintenance methods.
Education
Enrolled in BTS MAI, MI or MS (or equivalent technical/vocational diploma) — alternance/work‑study curriculum preferred.
