Hennessy in Cognac seeks an HR Social Management Control Apprentice to support HR analytics, reporting and statutory obligations.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Design, implement and maintain HR dashboards and reports to support workforce decision‑making.
  • Collect, clean and analyse quantitative social data to identify trends and propose corrective actions.
  • Ensure the consistency, integrity and reliability of social data across HR information systems and reports.
  • Respond to internal requests for HR information with precise, timely analyses.
  • Contribute to statutory and regulatory reporting (Social Balance, Mandatory Annual Negotiations, Gender Equality Index) and respond to institutional surveys (DARES, BDF, ECMOSS, PIPA).
  • Monitor incentive indicators, assist in calculating allocation envelopes and ensure compliance with applicable agreements.
  • Support the budgeting process by contributing to headcount forecasts, payroll projections and operating expense estimates.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in a Master’s programme — preferably Human Resources, HR Analytics or Management Control (alternance/apprenticeship track).
  • Strong numerical aptitude with proven rigour and analytical thinking.
  • High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential HR data.
  • Proactive mindset, intellectual curiosity and capacity to synthesise complex information.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for collaboration with internal stakeholders.

Skills

Excel (advanced) HR reporting and dashboard design Data collection, cleansing and basic statistical analysis Knowledge of French social and regulatory reporting requirements (e.g., Gender Equality Index, Bilan Social) Oral and written communication for internal reporting

Experience

Early‑career candidate; prior internship or academic project experience in HR analytics, payroll reporting or management control is desirable but not mandatory. The role is suitable for a student seeking alternating work-study placement.

Education

Currently enrolled in a Master’s degree (preferably HR, HR Analytics, Management Control or equivalent) with eligibility for an apprenticeship/alternance contract.
