Apprentice — Private Visits & Training Coordinator
Hennessy in Cognac seeks an Apprentice — Private Visits & Training Coordinator (alternance) to support visits, tastings and training programmes.

Hennessy is a leading cognac House within the LVMH group, internationally renowned for its craftsmanship, heritage and high-quality eaux-de-vie. Role & Responsibilities
- Assist in the creation and regular updating of training materials about the Maison, its history, heritage and savoir‑faire.
- Conduct and deliver private visits, bespoke programmes, group visits and press or B2B receptions.
- Prepare and support tastings and guided visits; ensure high standards of guest welcome and interpretation.
- Generate visit reporting and KPIs; maintain accurate records of activity and performance.
- Coordinate weekly and occasional weekend activities for Hennessy Visits; provide operational backup to the Visits & Tastings team.
- Support seasonal staff training in collaboration with the Visits & Tastings Supervisor.
- Manage tasting stock and the provisioning of canapé assortments; contribute to continuous improvement of the service.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in an alternance/apprenticeship programme in hospitality, tourism, cultural heritage, events or a related field.
- Fluent in French and English; conversational proficiency in at least one additional language (B1 level).
- Professional presentation and strong customer‑service orientation.
- Ability to animate and engage diverse audiences; public‑speaking skills.
- Autonomous, proactive and able to contribute ideas for service improvement.
- Good written communication; solid command of Microsoft Office (Pack Office).

Experience
Entry‑level. Open to candidates at the start of their professional career; prior customer‑facing experience or exposure to the spirits industry is a plus but not mandatory.
Education
Candidate must be enrolled in a higher education programme (Bachelor or equivalent) suitable for an alternance/apprenticeship in hospitality, tourism, cultural heritage, event management or a related discipline.
