Trade & Merchandising Intern
Guerlain (LVMH Beauty) in Capelle aan den IJssel seeks a Trade & Merchandising Intern for an on-site internship supporting trade marketing, merchandising and sales.
Overview
Guerlain is a historic luxury perfumes and cosmetics house operating within LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton's Perfumes & Cosmetics division. Role & Responsibilities
- Support creation and execution of 360° trade marketing plans for retailer activations and key product launches.
- Develop creative retail communications and POS materials adapted for Dutch retailers and points of sale.
- Assist rollout and management of local POS trade activations, incentives and communications to sales advisors.
- Create and maintain shelving plans and planograms in line with brand guidelines; advise on local adaptation for the NL market.
- Contribute to merchandising for events, trainings and masterclasses.
- Prepare and maintain Excel files, analyse sales and visibility data, and produce reports on priority launches and campaign performance.
- Support the Sales team with analyses, planning and project tasks.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or pursuing an HBO (Bachelor) or WO (University) programme in Marketing, Business, Retail or a related discipline.
- Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
- Practical proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Meticulous attention to detail with a retail-first mindset.
- Analytical, organised, structured and results-oriented.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; team-oriented, proactive and enthusiastic.

Experience
Entry-level internship suitable for current students or recent graduates; prior internship or academic project experience in retail, marketing or merchandising is advantageous but not required.
Education
Pursuing a Bachelor's (HBO) or Master's (WO) degree in Marketing, Business, Retail or a related field.
