Packaging Quality Technician
Guerlain seeks a Packaging Quality Technician (apprenticeship) in Orphin, France. One-year alternance starting Sept 2026 for BTS/BUT students.

Role & Responsibilities
- Perform visual and instrumental controls of packaging components (caps, pumps, bottles, etc.) in accordance with established procedures, safety and hygiene rules.
- Record inspection results in the laboratory's computerized system and ensure traceability of test data.
- Manage non-conformities by liaising with internal packaging teams and external suppliers to determine causes and define corrective actions.
- Issue and circulate quality verdicts and participate in root-cause analysis and follow-up of corrective/preventive actions.
- Monitor supplier performance indicators and contribute to consolidated reporting using Power BI in coordination with the Chartres cosmetics site.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in a BTS or BUT program specialized in quality control, packaging or industrial conditioning.
- First professional experience or internship in production is desirable, preferably within perfumery/cosmetics, pharmaceutical or food industries.
- Strong organizational skills, autonomy and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with production and supplier teams.
- Driving licence and own vehicle required due to limited public transport access to the Orphin site.

Experience
Entry-level position; candidates should be enrolled in a relevant BTS/BUT program. A previous internship in production—ideally in perfumery, cosmetics, pharmaceutical or food sectors—is advantageous.
Education
BTS or BUT (in progress) specialized in quality control, packaging or product conditioning.
