Role & Responsibilities
- Act as the principal China market liaison at headquarters to ensure fluid communication and alignment between HQ and local stakeholders.
- Co‑construct the China operational marketing strategy and 360° activation plans (brand, category, media, PR, A&P, retail, digital) with local and central teams.
- Oversee end‑to‑end implementation of regional and local campaigns, ensuring brand compliance, on‑time launches and optimized execution in each market.
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams (media, PR, supply, retail, education) to prioritize activities and resources, and to synchronize calendars and deliverables.
- Advise and implement A&P budget allocations in collaboration with stakeholders, prioritizing investments to maximize ROI and market impact.
- Work with Supply to optimise and prioritise international supply needs related to campaign roll‑outs.
- Capture and escalate China market insights to category and development teams to inform category strategy, innovation pipeline and local growth initiatives.
Qualifications
- 3–7 years' experience in operational marketing or business development with demonstrable market‑level operational delivery.
- Solid understanding of the China market and its commercial dynamics; prior China‑facing experience required.
- Proven ability to coordinate complex, cross‑functional projects in a matrix environment and to lead without formal authority.
- Strong analytical orientation with experience using KPIs and ROI metrics to monitor performance and recommend optimisations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with high cultural sensitivity and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Fluent written and spoken English; Mandarin proficiency highly desirable.

Minimum 3 years (typical 3–7 years) in operational marketing or business development with hands‑on market execution experience and demonstrated knowledge of the China market.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field; advanced degree in marketing or international business preferred.
