Guerlain seeks a Head of Marketing (Belux) in Brussels to lead 360° brand strategy, marketing operations and a team of four; hybrid role within a global luxury Maison.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Define and deploy the 360° annual marketing strategy for the Belux market, aligned with global priorities, key franchises and strategic launches.
  • Orchestrate omnichannel marketing across wholesale, retail, online and D2C to drive sell‑out, brand awareness and premiumisation.
  • Own marketing P&L elements: set and manage A&P, COOP, CAPEX/OPEX budgets; monitor ROI and reallocate resources to maximise commercial impact.
  • Lead product marketing and go‑to‑market execution for launches, seasonal campaigns and tri‑axis franchises.
  • Design and deliver media plans and performance measurement across channels; optimise campaign investment based on results.
  • Steer trade & retail marketing to enhance in‑store impact, clienteling, events and premium point‑of‑sale experiences.
  • Accelerate local digital strategy including e‑retail, e‑commerce, social and CRM to acquire, engage and retain customers using a data‑driven approach.
  • Define and implement merchandising strategy and renovation/space optimisation projects to ensure brand consistency and visibility.
  • Identify and activate new growth opportunities and strategic partnerships within the Belux market.
  • Lead, coach and develop a team of four marketing professionals; set objectives, monitor performance and cultivate a high‑performance, cross‑functional culture.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 8–10 years of progressive marketing experience; at least 10 years preferred, ideally within luxury, beauty, cosmetics or premium consumer brands.
  • Proven experience leading and developing a marketing team in an international or matrix organisation.
  • Strong strategic and analytical mindset with demonstrated ability to translate global brand vision into measurable local plans.
  • Proven stakeholder management and cross‑functional collaboration skills with global headquarters and commercial partners.
  • Track record in omnichannel marketing, media planning, CRM/clienteling, digital and retail activation.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence at senior levels.
  • Fluent in French and English (written and spoken); knowledge of Dutch is a strong asset.

Experience

Education

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field; Master's degree or equivalent business qualification preferred.
