Overview

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the Designer Manager in the end‑to‑end conception, creation and deployment of merchandising concepts for Haute Perfumery and Festivals.
  • Propose and develop in‑store POS, pop‑up concepts and customer experience designs aligned with the strategic brief from Marketing and the Designer Manager.
  • Produce and maintain merchandising guidelines for markets, including 3D presentations, principle layout plans, execution documents for didactic texts, material recommendations and colour codes.
  • Create detailed drawings and prototypes; reference and co‑develop POS items with Purchasing through to first‑run samples and initial series.
  • Prepare maquettes and mock‑ups to communicate design intent and support manufacturing decisions.
  • Analyse retail constraints, propose pragmatic solutions and adapt deliverables to tight deadlines while coordinating with cross‑functional teams.
  • Contribute to the operational roll‑out and quality control of launches in collaboration with commercial and market teams.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Master’s level (Bac+4/5) program in Design or a dual Design/Marketing curriculum.
  • Ideally one prior internship or work placement in luxury retail; cosmetics experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated creative vision and strong aesthetic sensitivity across multiple scales of a project.
  • Proven ability to produce physical and digital maquettes and to translate concepts into executable POS.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities proactively and rigorously.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.

Experience

Entry‑level; ideally one previous internship or short professional placement in luxury retail or cosmetics is preferred but not mandatory.
