Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the Merchandising Manager and the Merchandising Project Manager across the conception, design and deployment of merchandising concepts for makeup launches.
  • Translate strategic concept briefs into tangible PLV (point‑of‑sale) design proposals and adaptations across product variants and retail elements.
  • Prepare and distribute merchandising guidelines to markets: 3D presentations, principle plans for key elements, execution documents for text layout, material recommendations and colour codes.
  • Co‑develop POS fixtures and display elements with Purchasing and the Art Direction team from brief to first‑run receipt: design, manufacturer briefs, visual framing briefs and execution documentation.
  • Provide analytical input and creative proposals, manage multiple priorities and deliverables within tight deadlines while collaborating across teams.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in or holding a Bac+4/+/5 (Master's level) in Design or a dual Design/Marketing programme.
  • Demonstrable creative vision with strong aesthetic judgement and attention to detail.
  • Organised, proactive and able to manage competing priorities with rigour.
  • Comfortable working collaboratively with cross‑functional teams and meeting tight timelines.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.

Experience

Entry‑level/apprenticeship — candidate should be a student at Bac+4/Bac+5 level. A first internship or experience in luxury retail is desirable; prior exposure to cosmetics merchandising is a plus. This is a 12‑month, conventionnée alternance starting September 2026.

Education

Master's level (Bac+4 / Bac+5) in Design or a combined Design/Marketing curriculum, or equivalent enrolment in such a programme.
