Role & Responsibilities
- Drive and maximize sales performance to achieve sales budget objectives while ensuring operational integrity and monitoring profitability.
- Analyze store performance and report on business trends, including competitor performance.
- Demonstrate sales leadership through active customer engagement and ensuring high levels of customer service.
- Manage stock levels to maximize full price selling and align with new product launches.
- Train associates on current collections and brand strategies.
- Communicate company KPIs and develop strategies to meet performance standards.
- Develop business action plans with the Market Director to enhance sales.
- Lead the team in establishing relationships and organizing local events to promote sales.
- Stay informed on competitors, fashion trends, and industry innovations.
- Conduct coaching sessions with associates to review performance and provide feedback.
- Oversee performance check-ins and establish employee goals.
- Attract, recruit, and retain a high-performing team.
- Ensure a consistent onboarding experience for new hires.
- Manage staff resources and scheduling to drive sales and ensure customer service.
- Partner with Human Resources for employee relations issues.
- Utilize a top client strategy to retain and develop high potential clients.
- Promote brand awareness and capture market share through community outreach.
- Lead the team in executing superior customer service and after sales experience.
- Ensure development and execution of CRM initiatives.
- Monitor CRM database reporting to build client relationships.
- Collaborate with Operations, Human Resources, and Loss Prevention while adhering to company policies.
- Monitor store expenses and maintain operating budget.
- Ensure compliance with Loss Prevention audits and inventory reconciliations.
- Oversee merchandise requests and shipments.
- Provide accurate scheduling and payroll submission.
- Support visual merchandising standards set by headquarters.
- Maintain organization of company assets and adhere to policies.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of sales management experience in retail, luxury retail, or service-related industry.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is preferred.
- Ability to analyze selling reports and identify business trends.
- Proven ability to drive positive customer experiences.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
- Industry awareness and strong business acumen.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Passion for the Fashion Industry.
- Flexibility to work a retail schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Skills
Experience
A minimum of 7 years in sales management within retail, luxury retail, or a service-related industry is required.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is preferred.
