Role & Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Vice President of Store Planning & Facilities and global design teams to develop new store locations.
  • Prepare comprehensive design submittal packages from initial site analysis to technical documentation.
  • Coordinate design layouts with regional departments to ensure alignment across functions.
  • Maintain relationships with tenant coordinators and mall managers.
  • Transition design documents for bid, landlord review, and permit processes.
  • Review architectural documents and shop drawings to ensure adherence to company standards.
  • Coordinate security, telephone, and data requirements with relevant departments.
  • Obtain landlord approvals for drawing reviews.
  • Create and manage requests for bids and owner vendor items.
  • Review bid proposals and coordinate costs and schedules with vendors.
  • Oversee project tracker to ensure timely completion of activities.
  • Maintain cost summaries and approve invoices in coordination with the cost controller.
  • Conduct site visits to ensure design and quality standards are met.
  • Attend weekly site meetings to monitor project progress.
  • Coordinate with general contractors and local authorities for certifications and inspections.
  • Assist in store openings and develop punch lists for project completion.
  • Issue maintenance manuals for Store Directors.
  • Support multi-project budgeting for departmental forecasting.
  • Prepare weekly project status reports.
  • Provide cost estimates for store activities.

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of luxury retail experience, including architectural and store planning project management.
  • University degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or Construction preferred.
  • In-house store planning experience in the U.S.
  • Extensive experience with multi-level store build-outs and construction.
  • Strong budgeting and scheduling skills.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, and AutoCAD.
  • Knowledge of construction and millwork standards for luxury environments.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Frequent travel required.

Experience
