Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead loss prevention efforts to ensure a safe work environment and protect company assets.
  • Collaborate with retail management and staff to prevent losses through teamwork and training.
  • Manage emergency and crisis incidents, ensuring the safety and security of all store team members and clients.
  • Develop strategies to achieve and maintain shrink results that meet company expectations.
  • Oversee the vetting, training, scheduling, and management of vendor guards.
  • Conduct training sessions to raise awareness of loss prevention and safety policies.
  • Ensure merchandise protection in accordance with loss prevention directives.
  • Maintain a strong presence on the selling floor to deter theft and ensure security.
  • Assist in investigations of theft incidents and cash discrepancies.
  • Foster professional partnerships with store team members and local law enforcement.
  • Ensure proper functioning of all store security systems, including CCTV and EAS.
  • Support the Regional Security Manager with special projects.
  • Assist with health and safety measures and physical inventories.
  • Monitor store controls to identify potential dishonest employees.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in loss prevention or security-related roles.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to evaluate circumstances and make timely decisions.
  • Experience in driving successful loss prevention and fraud prevention programs.
  • Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Flexible scheduling to meet business needs.

Experience
