Gucci seeks a Sales Associate (Contract) in Cannes to deliver luxury client service, drive sales and uphold boutique standards.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain an in‑depth knowledge of Gucci’s history, collections and brand heritage to inform client interactions.
  • Deliver expert, personalised client advice and product storytelling in accordance with Gucci guidelines to convert and retain clientele.
  • Ensure the boutique and sales floor adhere to Gucci and group visual merchandising and presentation standards.
  • Maintain appropriate stock levels on the sales floor and assist with replenishment, labelling and back‑of‑house organisation.
  • Operate alterations/retouch service activities: take measurements, coordinate adjustments, manage client bookings, and follow up on orders and receipts.
  • Process sales transactions and maintain accurate cash handling and till reconciliation.
  • Apply CRM procedures to grow and maintain the boutique client file and support targeted clienteling activity.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to foster effective internal communication and deliver a seamless client experience.
  • Achieve or exceed individual and store sales targets and KPIs; actively contribute to department performance.
  • Comply with store security and loss‑prevention procedures.

Qualifications

  • Proven retail experience in luxury fashion or premium retail environments (preferred).
  • Demonstrable commercial acumen with a track record of meeting sales targets and KPIs.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a client‑centric approach.
  • Professional presentation and ability to represent a luxury brand at all times.
  • Flexibility to work boutique hours, including weekends and peak retail periods.
  • Legal right to work in France.

Experience

Typically 1–3 years’ experience in luxury or premium retail sales, with proven performance against sales targets and familiarity with clienteling/CRM processes. Practical experience with in‑store alterations and cash handling is advantageous.

Education

Secondary education or equivalent; vocational training in fashion, retail or customer service is a plus.
