Role & Responsibilities

  • Create the first prototype garment.
  • Evaluate and implement garment construction improvements to enhance fit, collaborating with the Ready-to-Wear Samples Coordinator and the team of pattern makers and technicians.
  • Revise garments based on fitting adjustments.
  • Construct sample garments.
  • Produce pre-production industrialized garments.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in the garment production cycle and various stages of garment construction.
  • Diploma in apparel technology or tailoring.
  • Proficiency in operating sewing machinery such as overlock and straight stitch machines.
  • Good knowledge of fabrics and yarns.
  • Experience in garment pressing activities.
  • Ability to quickly and accurately study and interpret patterns.
  • Effective organizational and planning skills.
  • Fluency in Italian and proficiency in an additional language.

Proficient in garment construction techniques. Strong pattern interpretation skills. Excellent organizational abilities. Effective communication skills.

Experience

Demonstrated experience in garment production and tailoring, with a focus on prototype and sample creation.

Education

Diploma in apparel technology or tailoring.
