Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the store operations team to ensure operational excellence.
  • Evaluate and enhance store operations with a strategic, commercial approach.
  • Train new and existing staff on operational policies and procedures.
  • Coach and develop team members in operations, customer service, and sales support.
  • Collaborate with corporate departments such as Operations, Inventory Planning, and Accounts Payable.
  • Serve as a leader and partner with the Store Director to execute operational and service standards.
  • Create a positive and cohesive work environment among staff.
  • Function as Manager on Duty, assisting with floor coverage and client transactions.
  • Oversee shipping and receiving processes and resolve any related issues.
  • Ensure accurate and organized store inventory through cycle counts and scheduled inventories.
  • Identify and resolve operational process issues promptly.
  • Maintain clear and accurate operational documentation.
  • Communicate discrepancies and issues to management immediately.
  • Process repairs and damages according to company guidelines.
  • Assist with the physical maintenance of the boutique.
  • Order supplies for the office and store as needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 - 7 years of operations experience in retail, luxury retail, or a service-related industry, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to analyze information, identify business priorities, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Strong organizational skills. Experience with technology for internal retail systems and shipping software programs. Ability to train new Team Managers - Operations and support teams. Willingness to travel and assist with store openings, closures, and remodels.

Experience

Minimum of 5 - 7 years in operations within retail or luxury retail environments, preferably in a supervisory capacity.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
