Gucci is hiring an Operation Specialist in Daegu to manage BOH inventory, store logistics and support events and client services.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage inbound and outbound merchandise operations, including receiving, put-away, transfers and stock movements within the store BOH (back-of-house).
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and implement loss-prevention controls to safeguard merchandise.
  • Process orders and maintain stock levels for consumables and store supplies such as hangtags, stationery, uniforms and client-related items.
  • Liaise with headquarters on store operational matters, policies, procedural rollouts and project execution.
  • Coordinate day-to-day operational communication with store teams and departmental stakeholders to ensure smooth store functioning.
  • Support the sales team as needed with client services tasks (for example: packaging purchases and preparing client deliveries).
  • Assist with store events and operational changes, including renovations, pop-up activations, client events and VM (visual merchandising) transitions.
  • Oversee internal and external warehouse usage and logistics to optimize storage and retrieval workflows.
  • Handle incoming store communications, including telephone and email enquiries related to operations and logistics.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with loss prevention, visual merchandising, sales and maintenance teams to maintain high operational efficiency.

  • Meticulous attention to detail and high standards of accuracy in operational tasks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable with basic store IT systems.
  • Strong sense of integrity, reliability and ownership of responsibilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Prior experience in retail or fashion operations (back-of-house/warehouse) is preferred.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Customer-service driven attitude with a focus on supporting frontline client experiences.

Experience

Prior exposure to retail operations, back-of-house logistics or inventory control within fashion or luxury retail is preferred; experience working with store teams and HQ processes is advantageous.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training or an associate degree in retail management, logistics or a related discipline is desirable.
