Role & Responsibilities

  • Design knitwear pieces using specialized software and identify the most suitable machines for the type of yarn and knitting techniques (e.g., stitches, jacquard, intarsia).
  • Develop programs for the creation of the first garment by interfacing with the designated knitter using Shima Seiki software.
  • Create size grading programs essential for the production phase of garments.
  • Resolve programming issues to prevent setup problems in knitting machines.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in knitwear programming.
  • In-depth knowledge of Shima Seiki machine programming software.
  • Excellent understanding of yarns.
