Role & Responsibilities

Design knitwear pieces using specialized software and identify the most suitable machines for the type of yarn and knitting techniques (e.g., stitches, jacquard, intarsia).
Develop programs for the creation of the first garment by interfacing with the designated knitter using Shima Seiki software.
Create size grading programs essential for the production phase of garments.
Resolve programming issues to prevent setup problems in knitting machines.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of experience in knitwear programming.
In-depth knowledge of Shima Seiki machine programming software.
Excellent understanding of yarns.

Experience
