Role & Responsibilities

Design knitwear panels and garments using specialized software, selecting appropriate machines for the yarn type and knitting techniques such as stitches, jacquard, and intarsia.
Develop programs using Shima Seiki software for the creation of prototype garments in collaboration with the designated knitter.
Create size grading programs essential for the production phase of garments.
Resolve programming issues to prevent setup problems in knitting machines.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of experience in knitwear programming.
In-depth knowledge of Shima Seiki machine programming software.
Excellent understanding of yarns.

Skills

Experience
